We invite you to an open house on March 4, 2025, as part of World Obesity Day, at the Center for Obesity Management at the BMC SAV and the Center for Physical Activity at the BMC SAV.
The event will take place at the Center for Obesity Management on the ground floor of the Medical Sciences Pavilion, as well as in the foyer and at the Physical Activity Center on the ground floor of the BMC SAV Virology Institute building on the SAV campus in Patrónka, Bratislava, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. It will include nutritional counseling, body composition measurements, training demonstrations at the Physical Activity Center, muscle strength measurements, and motor skills tests.
Subsequently, on March 12 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., lectures focusing on the pharmacotherapy of obesity and bariatric surgery will be held in the Dionýz Blaškovič Lecture Hall at the Institute of Virology, BMC of the Slovak Academy of Sciences.
Admission to both events is free.
